“Las Setas”, or the Plaza de la Encarnación

Beautiful sunsets and an ideal place to take pictures with magnificent views of Seville and its bell towers

A monument on five levels

Las Setas de Sevilla is the largest wooden structure in the world and is located in the Plaza de la Encarnación. Its name is given by the characteristic form of fungi that it presents.

The monument contains FIVE levels. On the first level is the Antiquarium o Archaeological Museum where you can visit ruins of the ancient Roman city of Seville installed several meters below the current subsoil. In the second level we find a popular market where you can buy meat, fish, fruits, vegetables and local products, and also find several bars and restaurants. The third level is an elevated square for the enjoyment of citizenship and on the fourth level we find the start of the visit to the catwalks, as well as a small bar and an event area of 500 square meters, and finally, in the fifth level, we find el Mirador at 28.5 meters high.

A viewpoint overlooking Aljarafe

From this viewpoint we can enjoy the beauty of Seville from the heights and has a 250-meter walkway to see, look and enjoy the views of the city from the heights, even spotting the Aljarafe area, located on the outskirts of the city. It is the ideal place to enjoy beautiful sunsets, relax and take photos with magnificent views.
